Abstract | The document serves as a directory of federal projects in the Handicapped Children's Early Education Program (HCEEP). An introduction describes the HCEEP network and briefly summarizes results of a recent evaluation study. The overview section then describes the five types of HCEEP projects: deomonstration projects, outreach projects, state implementation grant projects, early childhood research institutes, and the Technical Assistance Development System (TADS). The bulk of the document is composed of project-written abstracts for each of the 117 HCEEP projects.
